The server is in its testing phase. Tests are for learning: characters, progression and the world itself may be wiped between releases.
The launcher only points your game client at the OTTO Envolve server. It doesn't change any game files and doesn't use your Steam or Intrepid account.

Ready to jump in?
The OTTO Envolve launcher finds your Ashes of Creation on Steam, handles your account and keeps itself up to date.
Version 1.3.1 · 37 MB · Windows 10 or 11. You need Ashes of Creation installed.
- Download and open OTTO_Envolve.exe. No installation needed.
- Check the Ashes of Creation folder in Settings, if the launcher doesn't find it by itself.
- Sign in with the Account button. No account yet? Create one here or in the launcher.
- Click Play.

Before you start
Do I need to own Ashes of Creation?
Yes. OTTO Envolve doesn't distribute the game. You use the client you already have installed.
Is my Steam or Intrepid account at risk?
The launcher neither uses nor asks for those accounts. Your OTTO Envolve account is separate. Still, this is an unofficial server: make an informed decision.
Is my progress saved?
Not always during testing. Characters and progress may be wiped when a new release requires it.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. OTTO Envolve is a community project and is free.
Does the launcher modify game files?
No. It only starts your client pointed at the OTTO Envolve server.
I forgot my password. What now?
The launcher doesn't store your password. For now, contact the team to recover access.
